On July 18th, 2004, Tomio “Tom” Yoshimitsu went missing. He was last seen walking down Third Street, headed to meet up with his twin brother Jamie after summer conditioning for football.
This is the Yoshimitsu family’s story.
One Thousand Yards is a short VN created for the 2024 Novembear Game Jam. It was adapted and expanded from a writing exercise I did for a class, and drawn from various stories about twins in both literary fiction and mythology. This visual novel deals with death, disappearances, and the disintegration of a family. This is a safe for work (SFW) VN, though it may have thematic material unsuitable for some readers. In addition, you'd be pretty brave to play a furry visual novel at work.
