Macaulay Steiger has no luck with dates. Maybe it's him, or maybe it's the bar in North Chicago he keeps bringing his dates to. Either way, while he sits at the bar, waiting for his next date to arrive, Mac revisits some of his unsuccessful dates. Who knows... maybe this one will be different.
Scenes From A Bar Off North Halsted is a comedy visual novel made for the 2025 Love + Attraction Game Jam. This game does not have sexual scenes, but does have a brief scene of nudity. As such, please be 18 or older before playing.

I enjoyed this and thought it was rlly funny! It's always nice to see gay experiences depicted in a casual way that feels realistic to me - gay dating is like everything else in life: hard fucking work!!! The comedic timing and writing was very good, in particular the character writing is excellent. You get a very strong sense of who these people are and their quirks from very short encounters with them. The use of the gaming engine for comedy was also really well done, like a character's name changing to "guy who orders drinks like an asshole". The ending was super cute :)
